Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern use of Holt County Busted Mugshots. By using the resource, a visitor accepts these terms. A visitor who does not agree should not use the resource.

Holt County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, corrections department, or court. Neither this resource nor its advertising or search partners provides consumer reports, private-investigation services, or services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another Fair Credit Reporting Act purpose.

Private Reference Resource

This resource provides general pathways to public offices, courts, correctional systems, and outside tools that may be relevant to Holt County records. It does not store official booking records, certify custody, release anyone, post bond, file documents, or act for a government office. An outbound link is a reference, not an endorsement or a promise that another service is available.

Acceptable Use

Visitors must use the resource lawfully and responsibly. In particular, visitors may not:

  • Use the resource to stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or harm another person.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the service, its systems, or another user’s information.
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools that interfere with normal operation.
  • Disrupt availability, introduce malicious code, or bypass technical controls.
  • Rely on information from the resource for a prohibited FCRA-covered purpose.

Consumer-Report Restriction

Holt County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not furnish consumer reports, background reports, or screening services, and neither it nor its partners may be used for a decision about credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, licensing, government benefits, or any other use regulated by the FCRA. A visitor agrees not to use the resource or partner results for those purposes.

Outside Services and Links

The resource may link to sheriff pages, court systems, correctional agencies, federal locators, news organizations, and third-party search tools. Those services are independent. We do not control their information, uptime, fees, search results, privacy practices, or terms, and a link does not adopt their content as our own.

Service Provided As Is

The resource is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty that information is accurate, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or appropriate for a particular purpose. Custody status and public records may change without notice, and only the originating public office can make an official confirmation.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holt County Busted Mugshots and its operators, partners, and providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this resource or an outside service.

Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Holt County Busted Mugshots, its operators, partners, and providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from that visitor’s use of the resource or violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

The resource’s original text, graphics, logo treatment, design, and code are owned by Holt County Busted Mugshots or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or reused beyond lawful personal viewing without written permission.

Term Updates

These terms may be changed at any time. A revised version takes effect when posted. Continued access after a revision means the visitor accepts the revised terms.

Access May End

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice. We may also take steps to protect the service, other visitors, or legal rights.

Nebraska Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in an appropriate court within Nebraska. Nothing in these terms changes an applicable public-record right or procedure under Nebraska law, including Neb. Rev. Stat. §84-712.01.

Severability

If a court finds a provision unenforceable, that provision will be adjusted only as necessary or removed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
